Why does Snowdrop exist?
KEVIN KLINE was a self-centered morning radio show host and had spent most of his life trying to earn his father’s approval.
CHELSEY CAMPBELL was a fifteen year-old high student and homecoming co-princess in September. One month later, she was fighting for her life. That these lives would ever intersect was a miracle. What nobody ever expected was that she would be the one saving him.
Kevin Kline met Chelsey Campbell at a radio station fundraisng event in December of 2005. Doctors said she had a 10% chance to see her 16th birthday, but her determination to beat those odds was the catalyst that inspired Kevin and his wife Trish to do something special for Chelsey. In June of 2006, a Houston-based charity recieved its 501(c)(3) certification from the IRS. Snowdrop Foundation was official and the organization was “gifted” to Chelsey at her 16th birthday party.
